Ask what you're buying: sideline school cheer, rec class, or paid All-Star travel. They are not the same bill.
JCPS school cheer
Tryouts are by school. Physical and concussion forms go to that athletic director. Cheer often runs more than one season.

Rec / first cheer
- YMCA of Greater Louisville cheerleading — ages ~3–13, seasonal, several branches (Republic Bank, Southeast, Southwest, Northeast, Oldham, Clark, Floyd). Uniform plus cheers at Y basketball games.
- Spark Athletics — rec cheer, tumbling, gymnastics. Highlands location and a J-town / Bluegrass Industrial Park gym.
